Bad Wolf Technologies comprehensive Mission Recording & Debriefing Systems for Aviation are tailored to meet the specific needs of professional aircraft and helicopter pilots and instructors, just like you. Bad Wolf Technologies Recording & Debriefing systems are equipped with all the essential tools required for effective mission recording & debriefing sessions.

At the heart of the system are the AirKnight HD, AirKnight HD2, and AirKnight HD4S airborne/aviation video recorders.  The AirKnight HD family of aviation recorders support HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI and RS170/CVBS video formats. These recorders are compatible with Bad Wolf Technologies’ High-Definition HD-SDI and 3G-SDI video cameras, boasting resolutions of up to 1080p60. The AirKnight HD family of aviation recorders is compatible with all industry-standard 3rd party video cameras supporting various video outputs including 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SDI, HDMI, and RS170/CVBS NTSC PAL.

And of course, all Bad Wolf Technologies aviation video recorders support FLIR sensors.

Points of Interest and Geospatial Integration.

One unique feature of Bad Wolf Technologies’ Mission Recording is the ability to geotag or georeferenced points of interest. This is achieved by pressing the waypoint “push button” switch. When triggered, the system creates a bookmark and saves it in a GPX data file, along with additional file formats if selected, which are then stored on the storage media.

Mission Debriefing Phase.

During the debriefing phase, the geo-enabled video recordings can be viewed using 3rd party geospatial software, such as Remote Geo Line Vision, allowing for a detailed analysis of the mission.

Furthermore, since the system also saves a copy of the file in KML format, the flight path (excluding points of interest) can be viewed in Google Earth. This comprehensive overview of the mission makes these systems an excellent tool for aviation professionals.

RedHawk HD®
